Tornado Advisory® - The Tornado Advisory was developed to be weaker than a regular tornado watch. The tornado watch, issued by NOAA, is for any types of tornado scenarios … The Tornado Advisory is only for isolated tornado activity with no real organization along a major weather front or system.

Tornado Risk Analysis Model® - The Tornado Risk Analysis Model, or TRAM, indicates where the worst tornado risks will be. This has various colors and meaning, with yellow or higher being significant and red and pink being violent, more like an outbreak status.

Severe Thunderstorm Advisory® - Usually for severe thunderstorm events of more isolated features.
