(TheWeatherSpace.com) - Tornado Season starts in March and toward the start we will see another Tennessee and Mississippi Valley tornado outbreak within the next 30 days.
The overall weather pattern this season has been storm systems diving down from the Pacific Northwest, east of California. This pattern ejects systems into the plains, where Texas has been seeing above average tornado reports for this time of year. Tornadoes last month moved through Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama and another one is coming.
Enough evidence in the upper atmosphere shows that the ridge will develop in the Pacific between now and the next 30 days. This window will bring a strong storm system through California and into the Southern Plains.
With the sun angle getting higher, instability due to daytime heating as we head through this month will rapidly get stronger. This storm pattern suggests that we will have a tornado outbreak from Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and even Kentucky as we near the start of tornado season.
Confidence is high at the moment with a supporting pattern on hand. Long range forecasts are not generally issued on TheWeatherSpace, but when confidence in scientific evidence comes up ... one does go out.
So we have some time left, but with now to the next 30 days a strong storm will dive into the plains from the Western USA, bringing another tornado outbreak to the Tennessee and Mississippi River Valley zones.
