(TheWeatherSpace.com) - The Very Large Array National Radio Telescope in New Mexico is seeking a new name, according to Director Fred Lo. Lo, director of the array's radio astronomy, looking to the people to rename the popular icon.
Seen in movies, the Very Large Array in New Mexico is an icon to radio astronomy. Jodi Foster used it to make 'Contact', and some neat sounds from cosmos have been heard.
But now, Director Fred Lo would like you to rename it. You can go to their website by clicking here to enter the name! Be creative.
You have till December 1st of the year 2011 (this year) to enter. There will be an unknown prize!
