Study shows star beating the living tar out of nearby planet with x-rays

(TheWeatherSpace.com) -- NASA's Chandra x-ray observatory has discovered a pair that really do not like each other at all. One is a star, the other a planet.

The pair is 880 light years away and the planet is only 2.8 million miles from the star that parents it. Talk about parental abuse of the stars!

The star is continuously pummeling the planet, shredding the planet at an estimated 5 million tons of material every second!
