(TheWeatherSpace.com) --
Facebook is without a doubt the best way TheWeatherSpace.com keeps in contact with viewers and is the main drive to the system during breaking news updates.
Facebook has allowed TWS to connect to users, get comments, participate in answering questions, and much more. TheWeatherSpace.com would like to grow the Facebook page at the main TWS page, which has over 5,000 people and counting. Here is how it will be done;
Starting October 1st, TheWeatherSpace.com will announce a bi-weekly cash contest, only to Facebook users. TWS will post the contest down and the user will have to press "like" to enter. After 24 hours, a random user will be picked to win a $50 prize from TheWeatherSpace.com.
This prize will be $50 to you, or $25 to you and your choice of charity would get the other half. The choice would be yours when we message you.
Prizes will start out at $50. When TWS reaches 10,000 facebook users that number will go up to $100. It will go up further as more people participate in the Website.
Users who win once can win again. Whoever "likes" the contest post when it is posted will be put in a name string and a random selection by computer will pick the winners. It is possible to win more than once.
Prizes will be dollar prizes for 1st prize, and shirts for second and third prize. Three people will win every two weeks!
This is how TWS will give back to the viewers. Afterall, without you TWS would not be possible.
So if you haven't joined the main TWS Facebook page and want to participate in your chance to win, you must join by CLICKING HERE.
The last addition will be how Facebook posts will be done. TheWeatherSpace.com posts as much as five to ten articles a day. We feel this is spam on our main Facebook page to you so we are splitting TWS postings into two editions.
The morning edition will be released in one link, with the articles from the evening to the overnight, and will be released between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. Pacific Time.
The evening edition will be released in one link, with articles from the morning through the afternoon. This will be released between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Pacific Time.
Breaking news will still be available on TheWeatherSpace.com's Facebook pages, however the amount of article "spam" will be limited only to the morning and evening edition, with two links a day if breaking news is not available.
As for TWS' custom tornado watches. Expect those to be released on the regional pages only. People who are on the regional facebook pages we own will get those and TWS highly recommends you join those pages, especially if we issue a tornado watch for your area.
TWS hopes these two changes will increase the Facebook user database, overall Website content, helps viewers and their charities, and minimizes the spam on the current Facebook pages.
Morning and Evening editions on TWS will start today. Join TWS' network to win, participate, share, and be notified of interesting science and natural disaster topics.
