(TheWeatherSpace.com) - NASA encourages private Space companies to build Launch Vehicles into Space. No competition to space here for NASA, they want space companies to get them to space cheaper.

Since the NASA budget is dwindling down to barely anything, back to the stone age again, NASA looks to private companies like SpaceX to produce launch vehicles to get them to orbit.

The keyword here is reusable, being the cheapest route one can go. A reusable launch vehicle could bring NASA into Space ten times more efficient than the Space Shuttle Program did.

Really, NASA is just not at a battle with private companies. They are building the Space Launch Vehicles for the future.
