Scientists have been concerned about a very large quake that would equal to the magnitude and damage we saw back in 2004 when the mega Sumatra quake struck the area, sending a giant Tsunami inland and killing many.

A magnitude 5.1 Earthquake has struck off the Oregon Coast today. This Earthquake is right near the dreaded subduction fault zone in-which claims to give mega-thrust quakes and Tsunamis to the Pacific Northwest.

Question are raising eyebrows of when the next mega-thrust quake will hit? But scientists only give the same answer they can give for years, "we do not know".

Today's quake was centered on a mountain ridge zone, west of the dangerous subduction zone.
