Low level shearing and lifting will increase for Southeast Georgia this evening, where tornado warnings are already in progress. The highest area of stronger dynamics is Eastern South and North Carolina, extremely to extreme Southeastern Virginia.

The area is characterized with strong low level convergence, strong low level shear. With such strong dynamics in the area, stronger tornadoes may be possible so this is a moderate risk tornado watch with high tornado probabilities … so EF2 type tornadoes may not be out of the question.

This is a night-time tornado watch for most of the area, please be cautious and stay tuned to your source for tornado warnings, which we do not issue here at TheWeatherSpace.com
