TheWeatherSpace.com has issued TWS Tornado Watch 25
Effective now through evening/half night
Issued May 29, 2024 – 12:20 p.m. CDT

tw025

Supercells will form along the dryline through Northwest Kansas and into West-Central Nebraska. Orientation is such that cells will run into each other, limiting the discreet tornado potential … but tornadoes are still likely within the watch area.

The area is characterized with strong instability, shear, upper level support, and moisture. Tornadoes, possibly strong in spots will be likely in addition to large hail/damaging winds.

These storms will move eastward with time as a line of severe storms with embedded supercell potential .. and the secondary zone behind through extreme Western Nebraska into Northeast Colorado will also be able to produce tornado dynamics.
