Justin Stohlman, a spotter out of Butte County, Northern California; was watching the weather on Sunday. He posted to the Facebook page of National Weather Service Sacramento only to find out his help would turn into a phone call the next day.
Stohlman used a Doppler radar application to determine a storm system in the forecast area had the potential for severe hail. He posted the image on NWS Sacramento’s Facebook Page only to find out he didn’t help at all. They issued a warning 40 minutes after he tried to help, but no thank you or answer was ever given. The post was also deleted.
Clearly we have a Freedom of Speech violation, but is that anything new to government agencies now-a-days? No, it isn’t. National Weather Service is a shady operation, with people who know nothing about social networking. This is only hurting them in the long run when trying to entice the network crowds.
Stohlman reported that he was messaged by his friends at various media outlets, stating that the National Weather Service Sacramento Office was looking for a way to contact him via phone.
“I received two inbox messages from friends at a local news station telling me I needed to get a hold of NWS Sacramento that they wanted to talk to me,” said Stohlman. “so I called them and was basically told not to post anything doppler radar wise onto their page so it doesn’t confuse people thinking because I am a skywarn spotter that I am apart of the NWS team.”
This is precisely why the National Weather Service is my number one enemy agency. I did the exact same thing years ago, only to be told my help wasn’t needed. Judging by the accuracy of the National Weather Service in Sacramento and down in Southern California, it clearly shows they have no idea what they are talking about.
People need to be educated on how their government thinks they have power over them or their lives. They don’t, and National Weather Service will learn this soon enough as more and more people engage in their social networking, which none of them have experience in.

Thank you for posting this. It is getting to be worse and worse and our country seems to be turning into a police state. freedom of speech indeed has been violated!
Now we know that NWS is bought & paid for by those infiltrators that do commit treason against the USA & the CONSTITUTION & HER PEOPLE! no doubt about NWS, but this exposes them even further! The more the Treason Monkeys try to stop a good act of a concerned citizen & trample on their rights to tramples on our rights, the more those devils expose themselves and their own negligence! This further proves how stupid those Treason Monkeys really are! Justin Stohlman’s attempt to protect, assist, as a good citizen will do and the Deletion of his post in the long run helped more To expose the illegal actions & I’ll willed intentions of NWS & the US Government against THE PEOPLE!
