TheWeatherSpace.com has issued a Tornado Watch in effect through this evening. TWS Tornado Watch 004 expands through most of Arkansas, with the chance of strong tornadoes outlined within the watch wording.
“This is a pretty bad situation,” said Martin. With the cold front still west of the area, it is moving slowly. This should allow for supercells to form ahead of the main squalline, upping the strong tornado potential. Storms today should not be undercut like in Oklahoma’s event yesterday.”
Martin is giving the probabilities in the moderate range, with a moderate to high risk of EF2 or greater tornadoes.
Not only Arkansas, but Martin is outlining Southern Missouri as well for stronger tornado dynamics!
